Core Values

1. Sacrificial Worship -

Worship is much more than a church service or event - it is a lifestyle.  Worship is more about God than about us.  Authentic worship is a continual response to all God is and does that requires us to sacrifice our pride, our agenda, and our needs, submitting ourselves to God in every area of our life.  We understand God is the owner of everything and we are called to be faithful stewards of his resources.

2. Passionate Spirituality -

We believe lukewarm lives are an offense to God.  We are created for intimate, personal relationship with him.  This means our lives are to be characterized by dependence on the Holy Spirit, continual prayer, and a whole-hearted devotion that leads to life changing commitment.  Revelation 3: 15-16, Isaiah 26:9a, Mark 12:30

 

3. Life-Changing Relationships -

We believe in the priority of relationships which are characterized by mutual, voluntary love, submission, and responsibility.  In these kinds of relationships, believers provide and receive care, experience irrevocable commitment, and fulfill our deep need to belong.  Relationships in our faith community are defined, not the absence of conflict, but the presence of a reconciling spirit.  In this environment, we experience the supernatural power of love, grace, and forgiveness.

4. Spiritually-gifted service -

We believe Scripture teaches that all believers have a unique Spiritual-giftedness to be used in service to God, especially through a local church.  Nothing influences the satisfaction and fulfillment of Christians more than whether or not they are utilizing their Spiritual-giftedness for God's glory.  There is a direct correlation between using one's Spiritual-giftedness and experiencing joy in life!

5. Needs-Focused Evangelism -

We believe all people matter to God.  We will demonstrate His unconditional love in practical, relevant ways in order that we might introduce people to Him.  Focusing on the needs and questions of unbelievers creates the opportunity to share the answer to their greatest need. Colossians 4: 5-6, Luke 10: 29-37

 

6. Strategic Leadership-development -

We believe it is God's intent for the work of the Church to be carried out by all members.  We are committed to identifying, developing, equipping, and empowering gifted leaders to build up the Church.  The Church will be led by mature Believers with leadership gifts who have embraced the mission and core values of our church. Ephesians 4: 11-12, Romans 12:8

 

7. Transformational Teaching -

We believe that God continually speaks to us through the Bible.  Because it is true and reliable, the Bible is our only source of authority.  Therefore we will apply and obey the scriptures in every aspect of our lives.  James 1: 22-25, Romans 12:2, Romans 15:4
